These terms govern orders placed on this store. BLACKTAP is a brand of BV Sima, Belgium. Contact: info@blacktap.be.
1. Prices
All prices shown on this store exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is added at checkout according to your country and status. For business customers in other EU member states with a valid VAT number, the reverse charge applies.
2. Orders and proofs
An order becomes binding once we confirm it. For personalised cards, you supply the details and any logo, and we send a digital proof within 24 hours. Production begins only after you approve that proof. You are responsible for checking the proof, including spelling. We are not liable for errors in an approved proof.
3. Delivery
Standard delivery in Belgium is 72 hours after proof approval, priority delivery is 48 hours. These are estimates in working days.
4. Payment
Payment is due before production. Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
5. The platform
A BLACKTAP card points to a profile page hosted by us. You are responsible for the content you publish on that page, and you warrant that you hold the rights to any logo or image you upload. We may suspend a profile that is unlawful, infringing or abusive.
6. Platform management
Pro plans include the first year of platform management. After that, platform management is invoiced yearly at 36 euro per card per year excluding VAT, and can be cancelled so that it does not renew. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Withdrawal and returns
Personalised products are excluded from the fourteen day right of withdrawal. See our refund policy.
8. Warranty
Consumers have the statutory legal guarantee under Belgian law. Normal wear to the finish of a metal card is not a defect.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned, except in cases of fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, where liability cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
Belgian law applies. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Belgium. Consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
